Volunteering is at the top of AGEnda

AGE north down & ards (AGEnda) were delighted to come together at Bangor City Hall.

The Mayor Jennifer Gilmour hosted a reception to thank the AGEnda volunteers for their dedication and commitment to the older people in Ards & North Down.

AGEnda are currently looking for more volunteers, so please get in touch if you would be interested in supporting our ‘Good Morning Call’ service one morning per week.

Floating Support Service

What is ‘Floating Support’?

• Support for clients to live independently and to reduce social isolation.

• Connection to the local community.

• Signposting and referrals to other agencies e.g. Occupational Health, Home Safety Team.

• Support through Person Centred Plans for up to two years.

AGEnda’s Floating Support Service is funded by Supporting People and is available to people aged sixty five and over, in the North Down and Ards area.
