What our 2021 Survey told us

We sent out 1,400 surveys to over 65s in the area in Spring 2021.

We received 555 responses.

Overview

Many people have adapted to technologies but still prefer letter and face to face contact.

AGE north down & ards (AGEnda) Volunteers and Staff were very excited when Nicholas Graham Aveda Salon sent Andrea & Mia to paint rainbows on the office windows at 24 Hamilton Road, Bangor.

Nicholas heard AGEnda are waiting for their building to be painted and wanted to ‘brighten up the days’ for everyone in the AGEnda team who are working so hard.

To celebrate Positive Ageing Month, Ards and North Down Borough Council is hosting a Positive Ageing Event in Ards Blair Mayne Wellbeing and Leisure Complex on Monday 28 October from 10am-1pm.

Successful Fear of Crime Roadshow

What a week for AGE North Down & Ards (AGEnda); 5 venues, hundreds of people, thousands of sandwiches and lots of conversation. AGEnda’s Fear of Crime programme was delivered across Ards & North Down last week, and the feedback has been great so far.
